If so, we highly encourage you to apply to Project Social Impact’s Summer Institute.
The focus of the Summer Institute is an interdisciplinary approach to community engagement, cultural empathy, and conflict transformation through the medium of art including but not limited to theater, literature, dance, film, and photography. This two-week program aims to bring together a community of artists, social activists, teachers, and change-agents who believe in arts ability to break down cultural barriers and bring about social change.
The Institute will include a combination of guest speakers, workshops, and the sharing of practical skills for the development of your project and dissemination of your ideas.
Project Social Impact will invite 15 change-agents to participate. College students, educators, and NGO workers are encouraged to apply. Program Tuition (includes food, lodging, cost of local transportation): $1,000. Partial scholarships available based on need and merit.
